What does a conversation flowchart look like?
This is what a conversation flowchart looks like.
Why do I need a conversation flowchart?
If you have multiple conversation turns, you can build out your chatbot much more easily by first designing the flow “on paper”. In addition, it sort of forces you to think through all the different possibilities (what the user might say) as you design your bot.
Here is what a student of my flowchart course said:
“Take the time to learn the workflow/concepts he presents in his flowcharting tutorial. (This workflow is far superior to the approach suggested in the official DialogFlow documentation.) Using Aravind’s flowcharting approach you’ll be amazed at how quickly a functional prototype can be put together.”

How to create a flowchart?
I recommend using Mindomo, but you can use other similar flowcharting tools.
If you are using Mindomo, you can check out my free course on creating a conversation flowchart and quickly turning it into a Dialogflow chatbot.
The recently released Zoho SalesIQ v2 allows non-programmers to build chatbots using an easy-to-use code less bot builder. What is really unique about Zoho SalesIQ is the fact that you can also integrate AI into their code less bot builder. In my Zoho SalesIQ chatbots course, I explain how to use Zoho SalesIQ to add a chatbot to your website.
"The magic key I needed as a non-programmer" The custom payload generator was the magic key I needed (as a non-programmer) to build a good demo with rich responses in DialogFlow Messenger. I've only used it for 30 minutes and am thrilled. I've spent hours trying to figure out some of the intricacies of DialogFlow on my own. Over and over, I kept coming back to Aravind's tutorials available on-line. I trust the other functionalities I learn to use in the app will save me additional time and heartburn. - Kathleen R Cofounder, gathrHealth
